Join IBWA’s Q4 2026 Social in San Diego with Moms Interrupted hosts Taylor Dewey & Natasha Spaventa. Explore the real-life experience of motherhood, maternal mental load, identity, and connection while networking with local birth workers and maternal health professionals.

Our featured guests, Taylor and Natasha, will be leading a conversation on:

The Real-Life Experience of Motherhood: Connection, Identity & the Mental Load

Sometimes the best way to understand the families we serve is to hear directly from the moms living it.

Taylor and Natasha will bring their honest, humorous, and relatable perspective on modern motherhood to IBWA. Through meaningful conversation, we’ll explore the mental load, changing identities, relationships, expectations, connection, and the realities of motherhood that don't always make it into traditional conversations about maternal health.

Taylor Dewey and Natasha Spaventa are the hosts of the Moms Interrupted Podcast, where they share candid conversations about motherhood, relationships, identity, and the everyday experiences of raising children. Their real-life perspective creates an opportunity for maternal health professionals to listen, laugh, and better understand what mothers need from the providers and communities supporting them.

The Inspired Birth Workers Alliance invites professionals dedicated to supporting our local maternal and pediatric health community. Whether you're a doula, childbirth educator, lactation professional, midwife, pelvic floor therapist, chiropractor, acupuncturist, massage therapist, yoga instructor, mental health professional, or another provider serving growing families, this event is designed for you.

IBWA focuses on fostering meaningful relationships within the San Diego birth community, mirroring the support we advocate for our clients. Meet fellow providers, introduce your business, and explore ways we can support one another—and ultimately local families—through collaboration and intentional referrals.
