"In early August, I started having low back pain which was excruciating at worst, moderately uncomfortable at best. I was not having much luck finding finding a chiropractor who 1) accepted my health insurance (ASH-American Specialty Health through Sharp Health Plan), 2) was accepting new patients, and 3) had recently posted great reviews on Google or Yelp. When I called Align San Diego Family Chiropractic, their office manager told me unfortunately that Dr Bonnie wasn't accepting new patients, but one of the office's other Chiropractors, Kathryn McCarthy, was open to seeing new patients, and they also accepted my ASH insurance. I promptly scheduled my first consultation with Dr Kate, and immediately felt she was very knowledgeable, genuinely cared for my pain concerns, and discussed treatment plan to relieve my excruciating low back pain. Dr Kate spent a good deal of time getting to know about me, my health, and my recent pain. Then she adjusted my body, gave me stretching and strengthening exercises for me to do in between my treatment appointments. I also kept Dr Kate abreast with the treatment plan my PCP was doing, so they can work together towards my goal of being pain free (or greatly lessened) in the lumbar section of my back. The office is very clean, their office manager Rachel is both nice & friendly, their office takes adequate precautions in regards to COVID safety, and I haven't had any issues getting my necessary appointments scheduled. Their office was a little difficult to locate at first, and I didn't care for the steep incline road leading up to their building from Camino Del Rio South, or the tight public parking stalls, but those are minor issues compared to the outstanding patient care SDAlign Wellness Center has provided me. I look forward to receiving my chiropractic care towards my end goal of being pain-free in the area of my low back. If you're looking for a chiropractor in the greater Mission Valley area, I'd highly recommend SDAlign Wellness Center and Dr Kate."
